Ruffled Eyelet Scarf

Ruffled Eyelet Scarf

In this super easy scarf, length is entirely up to you. Once you make the
chain to your desired length just add 4 more chains. This will count
as your first trc.
In the sample brushed acrylic yarn was used (about 5-6 oz) and an I hook.

Directions are given as to the example made. You can take the basics
and make this as long or short as you like.

Materials needed:
WW yarn
yarn needle
scissors

Stitches used:
Trc
sc
slip stitch
and Trc v-stitch (trc ch2 trc)

Chain 171

Row 1. Trc in fifth chain from hook and in each chain across (167 trc)(base
section). Do not turn.

Working in rounds from here on.

Round 1. Chain 6, trc in the same stitch as ch 6 (one Trc V-stitch made). Make 3 trc v-st around the last trc of previous row. (you will be working around the row of trcs from Row 1). Work trc v-st in each of the free loops (of the foundation chain) to the end. Make 3 trc v-st around the post of the beginning ch 4. Work a trc v-st in each trc to end, sl st in 1st trc v-st. (340 trc v-stitches made)

Round 2. Sl st in ch 2 space. Ch1, sc in same space, *ch 5, sc in next ch space*. Repeat from * to * around entire scarf, slip stitch to first sc. Finish off, weave in ends.
